As most people know by now, Amber auditioned to be a contestant on American Idol when she was 17. She didn’t make it, but she has since said it was one of the best things that could have happened to her. When Ryan Murphy saw her in a the pilot of Cedric the Entertainer Presents, he cast her in Glee.
