PopEater Interview With Lea Michele

Lea Michele recently performed at a special event for Cyndi Lauper's gay marriage organization, "True Colors" and PopEater got to ask her a few questions about the event and life as a Gleek. Make sure you check out the video at the end of the post to see her singing with Jonathan Groff at the event, it's hilarious!

Why did you do this event?
The minute I got asked to do it I jumped on the opportunity because even though I get to sing on 'Glee' a lot it's not as much as if I was doing 8 shows a week on Broadway. I think it's a fantastic organization and I'm a huge fan of Cyndi Lauper's.

So you support gay marriage?

Absolutely.

How has your life changed in the last year?
A lot! I no longer live in New York, I live in L.A. I work on T.V. rather than Broadway. So yeah, being on a television show people see you a lot more than being on a Broadway show. And I'm so happy being on a T.V show where I get to sing and dance.

Was it weird the first time you got recognized?
No, I understand a lot of people watch the show and I thought it was really nice.

So the cast is really tight?
Half of us live in the same apartment complex and some of us are roommates. They're my family and I love them very much.

Do you have a bestie?

I've known Jenna [Ushkowitz, who plays Tina] since I was 8 but I can't just pick one person. They're all there in my life for different reasons.

Is there one song you're dying to sing on the show?

I'm singing a Barbara Streisand song in a couple of weeks and that was my dream song and I got to do it. Also we're getting to do Madonna which is really awesome. We've been really lucky to do so many great people.

Are you surprised by the success of the show?

I'm happy that people are watching it. Sometimes a show can be great and no one watches it but I believed in it from day one. I felt it could be really big and the fact that everyone joined on the bandwagon was great.

Is Rachel going to end up with Finn?

I don't know! I'm just as curious as you are.

One last thing. Could you be any cuter?

(Laughs). I'm sure I could. I'll work on it.

Parade Interview with Matthew Morrison

Matthew Morrison is quite popular with the rags nowadays. We posted about his interview with TV Guide, now you can learn more about the Broadway star turned TV heart-throb through his interview in Parade.

Click on the image or copy the link below to get to the Parade site.http://www.parade.com/celebrity/2009/11/matthew-morrison.html

The star of the hit TV show Glee Matthew Morrison has big dreams:
'I Want To Do It All'

by Robert Masello
published: 11/29/2009 PARADE

Even though he stars in Glee, the wickedly funny Fox-TV show focused on the trials and tribulations of a high school glee club, Matthew Morrison says his own teen years were surprisingly positive. “All the kids in the cast tell me they hated high school, but I had the best time,” he sheepishly admits. “I guess I was one of the popular kids. I played soccer, I was class president—I even dated the homecoming queen.”

Stop! It’s enough to drive the hit show’s audience to distraction. As Will Schuester, the earnest but energetic glee-club director, the 31-year-old Morrison guides a gaggle of talented but mostly socially inept kids through song, dance, and important life lessons. “If I could have written a part for myself, this would have been it,” he says. “It showcases everything I’ve trained for, and it’s the kind of teaching job I could easily have wound up doing myself in real life.”

Small chance of that anymore. After growing up in Orange County, Calif., Morrison lit out for New York in 1997, where he landed his first job on Broadway less than two years later. Most recently, he starred in Lincoln Center’s 2008 revival of South Pacific.

Having a sandwich and fries at a popular Santa Monica bistro, Morrison is focused, choosing his words carefully and keeping his voice low to save it for rehearsals later that day. Slim and trim, with a five o’clock shadow and a mop of wavy brown hair, he draws admiring glances from bashful fans at tables nearby.

“This is certainly the most recognized I’ve ever been in my life,” he confesses, “but that isn’t necessarily the most positive thing. I don’t like to go out to parties or clubbing, and I kind of like my anonymity. More people saw the pilot of Glee than saw me in my entire 10-year career on Broadway. But people feel more of a connection to you because they see you in their living rooms.”

Morrison credits much of his success as an actor to being an only, and lonely, child. “My mom was an RN and my dad was a midwife, and they were working all the time. I had this wild imagination, and I’d come home after school and stage these whole scenes with my toy knights. I was really lucky when I stumbled into theater. It felt great living in someone else’s skin.” With a shy smile, he adds, “I’m still more comfortable performing than I am talking to you right now.”

Has it always been smooth sailing professionally? Morrison laughs. “I’ve had way more rejections than I’ve had jobs,” he says. “But I don’t consider it rejection anymore—I consider it meeting the people who will take you to the next step. At least I’ve made an impression in their minds.”

How did he come by such confidence? “It’s a front!” he exclaims. “Some performers say it’s so easy, so natural, but I think that’s bull. I still get nervous, but fear is one of the great things that motivates me to be the best I can be.”

Morrison is single and splits his time between L.A. and New York, where he keeps a one-bedroom apartment in the theater district. “I’m still kind of a loner,” he admits. “Even the sports I’m into—running and cycling—are the kind I do myself. I like to throw my bike in the back of my truck, drive out to Malibu, and then bicycle along the Pacific Coast Highway. It gives me a chance to be alone with my thoughts.”

He has plenty to think about, including plans to record a solo album, and various movie offers that have begun to pour in. “I’d like to think of my career as a chess game, not a checkers game,” Morrison says. “I want to be thinking a couple of moves ahead.

“I hope to be one of those guys who has a strong presence in every genre of the entertainment world. I’ve kind of established myself on Broadway and on TV with Glee, and I’d eventually like to do some film work. I want to do it all.

“I want to be the next Gene Kelly,” he sums up, with a hopeful smile. “Or the first Matt Morrison.”

True Colors ('Hairography' Synopsis)

Of the Glee episodes so far, I think “Hairogaphy” had the strongest moral theme. And it never felt preachy. As Rachel describes, and Sue reaffirms, the razzle-dazzle of hair is a mask. A distraction to what’s really there. Last night’s Glee was all about showing your truth.

There were moments of good: Rachel, despite feeling embarrassed, being told that she’s perfect the way she is. Will, after making the kids do that atrocious mash-up of “Crazy In Love” and “Hair”, realizing that his kids are so good, they need nothing but their voices. And Tina, busting out a gorgeous renditions of Cyndi Lauper’s classic, “True Colors”.

There was also the sad: Finn and Rachel isn’t going to happen, at least not any time soon. He may have moments of weakness, but he really loves Quinn. Puck is not the redeemable hero we thought he was. Kurt may be adorable, but he’s also desperate, conniving and mean. And Sue Sylvester, admirable though she may be to her sister, is just a bit too evil to be considered good.

This was, in fact, an episode about true colors. I must admit, I had grown to expect more from Sue (and Puck). Oh, Ryan Murphy! You trickster. I hope the choir directors from the other schools (one of which was played brilliantly by Eve) stick to their morals and decide not to screw over Will (especially after that beautiful performance of “Imagine” between the two glee clubs!). We have just two episodes left before we find out what happens at Sectionals.

What did you think of last night’s episode? Did you think Sue would end up leaking the set list? Will Puck ever change his ways? We know Rachel is capable of taking the high road. Will Kurt find himself eating his words (and his betrayal)?

Let us know your thoughts!

Dear Ryan Murphy (Quinn's Performance)

I don't think you fully understood my suggestion regarding Quinn and her performance of Madonna's ode to pregnant teens, "Papa Don't Preach". In this preview of tonight's episode, we see that Quinn doesn't actually sing the song to her dad.

Ryan, wtf?!? That's like Dolly singing "So Long Dearie" to a newpaper boy instead of to Horace Vandergelder - it loses all of its punch! For those of you who need a more current example, think of the Dreamgirls movie. Deana (aka Beyonce) sings "Listen" in a recording studio. Her freedom anthem is essentially a pop song that could have been written by and sung to anyone. Imagine how infinitely powerful it would have been if she'd sung to directly to Curtis (aka Jamie Foxx) at the dinner table right after Curtis said he owned her. Fo' realz! Missed opportunity, yo.

That being said, you know I can't wait for tonight's episode. What are you guys most excited about seeing tonight?

TV Guide Interview With Matthew Morrison

TV Guide got a chance to speak with Matthew Morrison at the OCEANA Partners Award Gala in LA this past Friday. Morrison mentions that he would like to sing "Like A Virgin" in the upcoming Madonna-themed episode of Glee: "“If Emma and I were ever to get together, maybe [we could perform it] the first time we consummated the relationship. I want that storyline. I hope it happens. I think it would be the funniest thing because she’s so O.C.D. I think there would be a lot of Purell involved.” He also talked about what he thinks his album is going to sound like: "A classy Justin Timberlake...with a big orchestra".

I didn't even know he had a CD coming out! and I'm supposed to be in love with him.. wow. Now I'm excited!

Memorable Quotes From "Ballad"

Will: "Ballad. From Middle English, ballad... Who knows what this word means?"
Brittany: "It's a male duck."

Rachel: "Looks like my weekly letter to the Ohio show choir committee finally paid off!"

Puck: "I love the days when I don't wear underwear. Full commando!"

Finn: "I never noticed how nice Rachel's butt is.. oh crap, I think Quinn knows I'm staring at it."

Rachel: "Wow. I've never noticed this before because he's always trying to destroy my career, but Mr. Schue has really pretty eyes.. and really nice teeth. He's obviously invested in good oral hygiene, and that's important to me. It shows wonderful self esteem."

Will: "I don't like the way she's looking at me. Ugh, I shouldn't have sung this song to her. Crap! She looks crazy right now. I know this look..."

Rachel: "Ok, this is amazing. When I'm singing with him, it's like I'm seeing him for the first time, and what I'm seeing is super, super cute."

Quinn: "God I miss the firm support of my polyester Cheerios uniform. The control panel hid my baby bump perfectly."

Mr. Fabray: "Judy! Glenn Beck is on!"

Susie Pepper: "Peppers. So you can wear them and think of me, Susie Pepper."

Terri: "Listen you little psycho, this is Will's wife, and if I don't get enough sleep my anti-depressants won't work and then I'll go crazy and I'll kill you! Stop calling!"

Kurt: "Your lashing out at me is fantastically compelling and.. inappropriate."

Ms. Hudson: "Were you just singing to a sonogram?"
Finn: "Uh huh."

Kurt: "Your T-zone is dangerously dry."

Mr. Schuester: "So, Rachel, do you think you understood the message I was trying to get across with that ballad?"
Rachel: "Yes, it means I'm very young, and it's hard for you to stand close to me."

Kurt: "Your father didn't charge into the breach empty-handed. He had a weapon."
Finn: "You think I should bring a gun?"

Mercedes: "You need to get something through your mohawk real quick. You're the baby's daddy. It takes a hell of a lot more to be a father and that role's already been cast because Quinn chose Finn. You need to accept that and move on 'cause you have no business messing up that girl's life any more than you already have. You need to back off. You owe her at least that much."

Finn: "I have to go, they'll think I'm pooping."

Rachel: "I have nothing to say to you, Pepper. If you continue to stalk me, I'll press charges!"

Finn: "Is there a cake?"

Ryan Murphy Reads Glee Club Online! (Allegedly)

OMG y'all! Ryan Murphy totally reads Glee Club Online! How do I know? In our "Ballad" synop post last Wednesday I suggested that Quinn sing "Papa Don't Preach", and now...

Coincidence? I think not.

Check out this preview for next week's brand new Glee episode!

Amber Riley Talks to US Magazine

US Magazine caught up with Amber Riley to ask her a few questions at Thursday night's "Hot Hollywood" party. She insisted to them that Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are not an off-screen item by saying, "We are like family. It would be like incest. And that is just really gross."

I don't really think it's any of our business if they're together or not. What do you think? Would you like to see them as a couple off-screen? Let us know in the comments how you feel!

Who Are You Thankful For?

With Thanksgiving coming up, some members of the Glee show were asked who they are thankful for. Here's how they responded:
Finn Hudson – “I am thankful that the Pilgrims didn't celebrate the first Thanksgiving by eating Great White Shark because I bet they're much harder to kill than turkeys and my mom's oven isn't very big.”
Rachel Berry – “I am thankful that no matter what happens to me in life, I'll always have a job waiting for me at Disneyland.”
Sue Sylvester – “I'm thankful for bamboo's durability and resistance to splintering, making my ‘discipline cane’ the perfect teaching tool.”

Feel free to leave a comment telling us YOU are thankful for this holiday season!

I'll Stand By Glee ('Ballad' Synopsis)

What did you think about last night’s Glee? Did “Ballad” sing to you?

I was surprised to see Gleeks on Twitter say that they weren’t all too impressed with the episode. My response: “Not every episode can be ‘Wheels’. Every once in a while you get an ‘Acafellas’.” And this episode was way better than ‘Acafellas’!

“Ballad” had some great musical moments, with “I’ll Stand By You” and “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” as my top choices (it’s so nice to see Matthew Morrison not rap). “Having My Baby” was so bad and awkward it was good in one of those schadenfreude kind of ways.

I’m really glad to see Quinn’s family. It tells us a lot more about who she is and why she was such a bitch earlier in the season. If I had bigoted, boozing, Glenn Beck watching parents I’d probably also be a sour, snooty hypocrite.

I would just like to offer Ryan Murphy a quick suggestion: in the upcoming Madonna episode, bring back Quinn’s parents and have them try to convince Quinn to get an abortion (or give it up for adoption, but I think the abortion would reinforce what hypocrites those kind of people tend to be—you know the kind I’m talking about ::cough::Glenn Beck people::cough::cough::). Quinn should then sing “Papa Don’t Preach”! Thoughts? Too obvious?

So tell us, what did you think of “Ballad”? Is it just me, or is Rachel really working her way around the glee club? What a ho! What do you think of Kurt’s slightly awkward infatuation with Finn? Did you love when Mercedes told Puck to simma down? Let us know your thoughts!

"Once, Upon A Mattress" Episode Description

Fox issued a press release with this synopsis of the upcoming Glee episode, "Once, Upon A Mattress":

"When the Glee Club is left out of the yearbook because of budget cuts, everyone seems to be relieved that they won’t have to suffer the ridicule of years past. Everyone except Rachel, that is, who wants her legacy cemented in print. Meanwhile, Quinn makes it her mission to be in the Cheerios yearbook photo, and Will and Terri’s relationship is shaken to its core in the all-new “Mattress” episode of GLEE airing Wednesday, Dec. 2".

Kevin McHale Bio

Name: Kevin Michael McHale

Nickname(s): Kev-Kev, Kevvy

Date of Birth: June 14, 1988

Fun Fact: Kevin was a member of the boy band, NLT.

Hometown: Plano, Texas

Character on Glee: Artie Abrams

Before his role as Artie Abrams on Glee, Kevin McHale had minor acting parts on NBC's The Office, Nickelodeon's Zoey 101, and HBO's True Blood. He also appeared in the Bratz movie with the rest of his former band, NLT.

There's been some recent controversy over the fact that the part of wheelchair-bound Artie is not played by an actual wheelchair-bound actor. One of Glee's producers, Ryan Murphy, excuses this by saying that McHale was too talented to not use him. Executive producer, Brad Fallchuck, added, "We brought in anyone: white, black, Asian, in a wheelchair. It was very hard to find people who could really sing, really act, and have that charisma you need on TV."

Quick Quote: "I would be fascinated to see our 'Glee-ified' Michael Jackson song."

Glee Cast Members At New Moon Premiere

Glee cast members Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, and Chris Colfer attended at the New Moon red carpet premiere last night in Hollywood.

While talking to Access Hollywood, Mark Salling said, "I sit in a dark room and read the books by candle light to Taylor’s picture and a rose in my ear. I’m a huge fan." and “I’m really anxious to see the movie. It’s a trip.” They asked how Glee fans compare to fans of Twilight and he said, “I think there’s a little crossover. I think you can be a little of both, but I think this is a little darker… They’re all loyal.”

Here are some pictures from the event (and a video interview with Lea Michele at the end!)

Short interview with Lea Michele

Were You Hot For Teacher?

Who’s excited about Glee tomorrow night?!? I am!

If you’re like me, I always wish I had a time machine as soon as the preview for next week’s episode is over. I am a huge Sting fan, so I can’t wait to see Will try to simma down Rachel by singing “Don’t Stand So Close To Me” (“That I’m young and it’s hard to stand close to me” – Ha!)

Gleeks, we want to know: what were (or are) some of your teacher crushes in high school? I have to admit, I had it bad for my senior year literature teacher, who was also my Honor Society advisor. He didn’t exactly sing and dance like Will Schuester, but man did I spend extra time working on Honor Society!

Leave comments below telling us about your teacher crushes!

ETA: I (Ashley, site mod/founder) was totally in love with my AP Psychology teacher in 12th grade, and I'm pretty sure he wanted me too. He was 26, I was 18... he liked my tongue ring, I liked his sweaters, we both hated milk... and I may or may not have had an online fling with him via Yahoo Messenger. I will never tell!

ABC News Chats With Jessalyn Gilsig

ABC News recently did a brief interview with Jessalyn Gilsig on their "Good to Know" segment. They talk about the character of Terri on Glee and show an clip from an upcoming episode. Check it out!

Clips From "Ballad"

Two clips have surfaced online from this Wednesday's new Glee episode.

In the first scene, Will and Rachel sing "Endless Love" and we get to hear some of the cast's inner thoughts.

In the second scene, Will and Emma discuss Rachel's crush on Will, and Will tells Emma about Suzy Peppers, a prior student of his that had a really big crush on him.

Suzy Peppers seems just a little creepy to me. Hopefully Rachel's feelings won't get that extreme!

Cory Monteith Bio

Name: Cory Allan Monteith

Nickname(s): Frankenteen

Date of Birth: May 11, 1982

Fun Fact: Before getting into acting Cory worked a number of odd jobs, including construction, driving a taxi, and greeting customers at Wal-Mart.

Hometown: Calgary, Alberta.

Character on Glee: Finn Hudson

The young actor wasn’t really a singer before working on Glee. So his agent had him send in a tape where he was playing the drums, which he’s been playing since the age of 7, to showcase his musicality. Except, it wasn’t actually on drums – it was on Tupperware! The idea worked, because it led to an audition. Before Glee, Cory worked on a number of films and television shows, including Final Destination 3, and the ABC Family show, Kyle XY.

Though he plays a high schooler in Glee, Cory actually dropped out of high school when he was a freshman.

Quick Quote:
“I think there’s something so fantastically horrible about [80’s rock].”

Amber Riley Bio

Name: Amber Patrice Riley

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Character on Glee: Mercedes Jones

She didn’t make it, but she has since said it was one of the best things that could have happened to her. When Ryan Murphy saw her in a the pilot of Cedric the Entertainer Presents, he cast her in Glee.

Quick Quote: “I'm just a fun person and I don't take myself too seriously. Life is supposed to be fun. My focus is to make a better life for myself and my family, so I am doing what is necessary to make sure we are being taking care of.”

Lea Michele Bio

Lea crawled onto a Broadway stage at the tender age of 9, where she played Young Cosette in the original New York run of Les Miserable. She then originated the role of “the Little Girl” in the original Broadway production of Ragtime.

Lea was nominated for a Drama Desk award for her lead role Wendela in the ground breaking hit Spring Awakening, which she had been working on since she was 14. (She was 20 when the show opened on Broadway.)

Quick Quote:“I love Adam Lambert! I want to sing with him SO badly.”

Jane Lynch Bio

Name: Jane Lynch

Nickname(s): Jany, Lynch Mob

Date of Birth: July 14, 1960

Fun Fact: She admires Meryl Streep and Anne Heche, and thinks Vince Vaughn is great.

Hometown: Dolton, Illinois

Character on Glee: Sue Sylvester

Jane Lynch attended Illinois State University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in theater. She then went on to get her Master of Fine Arts from Cornell. She's been starring in films since 1988 and commonly plays sarcastic, controlling roles, such as her character in The 40 Year Old Virgin, and of course, Glee.

Jane came out of the closet over 25 years ago and says the reason she thinks there haven't been more movies about lesbians is because, "The Christian Right is very powerful, and I think a lot of people in America are conservative. But all these Christians who said that morals were the reason they voted for George Bush, I wonder how many of them were among the 25 million people who watch Desperate Housewives? Which is hardly moral television."

Quick Quote: "I’m very picky, very critical. I have done projects in the past that I didn’t think were very good, because I was just happy to work—my agent used to say I’d work for a steak and $1.50--but I’m not really doing that anymore."

Memorable Quotes From "Pilot"

Rachel: I won my first dance competition when I was three months old.

Emma: Since when are cheerleaders performers?

Sue: Your resentment is delicious.

Mercedes: Oh, HELL to the no! Look, I'm not down with this background singin' nonsense. I'm Beyoncé, I ain't no Kelly Rowland.

Sue: You think this is hard? I have hepatitis. That's hard!

Memorable Quotes From "Showmance"

Sue: That was the most offensive thing I've seen in 20 years of teaching — and that includes an elementary school production of Hair.

Will: Hold on a second, Sue.
Sue: I resent being told to hold on to anything.

Kurt: They're gonna throw fruit at us. And I just had a facial.

Sue: Iron tablet? It keeps your strength up when you menstruate.
Will: I don't menstruate.
Sue: Neither do I.

Memorable Quotes From "Acafellas"

Puck: Dude, my bowels have better moves than you.

Sue: I'm going to ask you to smell your armpits. That's the smell of failure, and it's stinking up my office.

Sue: I want my full budget restored. I want a fog machine.

Emma: They say it takes more certainty than talent to be a star. Just look at John Stamos.

Memorable Quotes From "Preggers"

Sue: I'll often yell at homeless people: 'Hey, how is that homelessness working out for you? Try not being homeless for once.'

Sue: Not everyone is gonna have the walnuts to take a pro-littering stance. But I will not rest until every inch of our fair state is covered in garbage.

Kurt: My body is like a rum chocolate souffle. If I don't warm it up right, it doesn't rise.

Sue: I got a satellite interview. That's lingo for an interview, via satellite.

Sue: Caning works! And I think it's about time we did a little more of it right here... yes, we cane!

Kendra: Dishonesty is food to the marriage. It will die without it.

Memorable Quotes From "Vitamin D"

Rachel: I'm sorry for calling you contemptible and deplorable.
Finn: That's okay. I didn't even know what those words meant.

Ken: I know our relationship isn't perfect... you cried that one time my elbow rubbed your breast.

Sue: I always thought the desire to procreate showed deep personal weakness.

Emma: You’ve got a little mustard in your cute Kirk Douglas chin dimple.

Terri: I'm the new school nurse.
Will: But you don't have any training.
Terri: Please, Will, it's a public school.

Memorable Quotes From "The Rhodes Not Taken"

Rachel: Yes, I am back in glee club. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to a socially conscious charity of your choice.

Puck: That Rachel chick makes me wanna light myself on fire, but she can sing.

Kurt: Can we please talk about the giant elephant in the room?
Cheerleader: Your sexuality?

Memorable Quotes From "Throwdown"

Sue: I can't stand the sight of kids getting emotional, unless it's from physical exhaustion.

Finn: I came up with the best baby name of all-time: Drizzle.

Sue: I empower my Cheerios to be champions. Do they go to college? I don't know. I don't care. Should they learn Spanish? Sure, if they wanna become dishwashers and gardeners.

Sue: I empower my Cheerios to live in fear by creating an environment of irrational, random terror.

Sue: I like minorities so much, I'm thinking of moving to California to become one.

Sue: I don't trust a man with curly hair. I can't help but picture little birds laying sulfurous eggs in there, and it disgusts me.

Mercedes: Can we try something a little more black?
Rachel: It's glee club. Not crunk club.

Memorable Quotes From "Mashup"

Sue: I, for one, think intimacy has no place in a marriage. Walked in on my parents once and it was like seeing two walruses wrestling.

Emma: Ken has convinced me we need to at least be in the same room when the marriage is certified.
Ken: What can I say? I'm a traditionalist.

Memorable Quotes From "Wheels"

Artie: I wanna be very clear: I still have the use of my penis.

Sue: [Ramps] are what I call lazy-makers. They discourage able-bodied students from getting proper exercise by using the stairs.

Quinn: I don't care if my baby comes out with a mohawk, I will go to my grave swearing it's Finn's.
Puck: It would be pretty awesome if it came out with a mohawk.

Should Kurt Get A Boyfriend?

In a recent interview with MTV News, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele were asked who they would like to see start making some love connections on the show. Lea mentioned that she would like to see Kurt get together with someone, as long as it isn't Puck. She also added, "Merecedes, too. I think that would be an awesome storyline." Cory Monteith agreed with Michele in typical Finn fashion by saying, "Yeah."

Glee Cast Appearance On The Tyra Show

On Friday, November 13, 2009, the cast of Glee made a surprise appearance on The Tyra Show.

Kevin McHale confesses his childhood crush on Tyra, Chris Colfer talks a little bit about his gay fans and how he's inspired them, Jenna Ushkowitz tells Tyra about how she majored in theater, Lea Michele talked about what she was like in high school and "shower song"'s, Mark Salling discusses his mohawk, and Amber Riley randomly starts singing.

In the second part, they show a clip of the Glee cast performing "Push It" and they do a little cast trivia game called "Gleecrets".

Sarah Marshall, Writer

Sarah is a mom to an adorable Potato, wife to a world traveler, and slave to the music.  A former music teacher and marketing director, she now spends her time as a professional musican, blogger (Traveling Marshalls, Lady Blogger Society), and TV worshipper. Glee is currently responsible for her lack of productivity and the decreased space on her TiVO.

Favorite Glee Character & Why:  I'm a big fan of Will Schuester....not only because he's GORGEOUS, but because he has the same genuine concern for his students that I did when I started out as a teacher.

Favorite Glee Song: "Keep Holding On" -- I cry every time I hear this.

Amy Bower Doucette, Writer

Amy is a 32 (going on 16) year old wife and mom to a 3 year-old fellow Spock fan. Her likes are Nine Inch Nails, library books, anything and everything related to Zachary Quinto, hanging out with her kiddo and playing on Twitter. Her dislikes are people that throw their cigarette butts on the ground, okra, houseplants that die easily and things that aren't chocolate. She has a journalism degree and writes a weekly column for a local newspaper. She has been madly in love with Glee from the start.

Favorite Glee Character & Why: It's a tie between Will "Hot Teacher" Schuester and Kurt Hummel. Will is so brilliant, and he performed one of my all-time favorite 90s jams, "Bust a Move." I was powerless against that. And Kurt, well... I love Kurt. He's so brave. I respect anyone that follow their heart no matter what anyone else thinks.

Favorite Glee Song: Young MC, baby! "Bust a Move"

Sergio Rodriguez, Writer

Serg is a leadership theory and musical theater junkie living in Boston and desperately trying to move to New York City. He's a classic ENFP who enjoys vlogging on YouTube, reading and plotting ways to take a picture with Stephen Sondheim. Professionally, he does leadership and professional development for companies that seek to give their employees more than just a place to work. He's also proud to be a true (orange and) blue Florida Gator!

Favorite Glee Character & Why: Kurt. I wish I had been that strong when I was in high school.

Favorite Glee Song: "Maybe This Time" - I just love Kristin Chenoweth SO much.

Rachel K, (Former) Writer

Favorite Glee Character & Why: Emma Pillsbury – Because she’s super stylin’, darling, and she loves Will (just like me)

Favorite Glee Song: Don’t Stand So Close to Me/Young Girl (because Emma’s face is priceless & Matt Morrison can freaking sing!)

Brittany C, Writer

Brittany is a Strategic Communications major at Elon University in beautiful North Carolina. Her hobby is musical theater which explains her great love for Glee. As a student in both media writing and digital media classes, she enjoys blogging as a way to make textbook knowledge practical.

Favorite Glee Character & Why: Rachel. She has great courage in being the theater geek.

Favorite Glee Song: “Defying Gravity”

Julian Lytle, Live Blogger

Hailing from the Nation's Capital, Julian's work bridges the traditions of 70's poster artists like Robert McGinnis, Mitchell Hooks, Joseph Caroff, contemporary urban and pop culture with a line culled from classic fashion illustration. His "Guns and Honey" art series is inspired by the intersection of beauty and danger, the woman. When he's not crafting up dangerous women, Julian is making "Ants," a weekly webcomic satirizing pop culture.

Favorite Glee Character & Why: Santana.  We know nothing about her, but she's connected to the cheerios, Quinn and Puck. And she's cute.

Favorite Glee Song: "Thong Song" because I never thought that song would be in anything after 1999.

Laurie D, Quality Control

Laurie is a Licensed Vet Tech from Springfield, VA. She has absolutely no computer/technology experience but is great at proofreading and giving her opinion which makes her perfect as our quality control expert. In addition to watching Glee, listening to Glee songs, and drooling over Mr. Schuester and Finn, Laurie enjoys long walks with her dog, Dolly, pilates, horseback riding and obsessing about the Backstreet Boys. Laurie has many positive features, however probably her greatest one is the fact that she thinks Daryl is very cute and hilariously awesome.

Favorite Glee Character & Why: Emma, because she's hilariously adorable and I can relate to her quirks.

Favorite Glee Song: "Take a Bow"
