These cities include London, Manchester, and Dublin. Are you gleeking out? I am and I live in America! The entire Glee Club (including Darren Criss) will be going across the Atlantic to perform musical numbers like "Empire State of Mind,” “Toxic, “ “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “Don’t Stop Believin," and many more.
Ryan Murphy, the creative genius behind the Glee phenomenon, had this to say:
"We had such a great time putting together last year’s shows and the response from the fans was incredible. People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show."
The Glee community amazes me! I'm SOOO happy for my U.K counter-part's but I am a tad bit jealous because I want to go to the Glee concert as well....I'm sure our American readers are saying the same thing. Well Gleek-Americans, you too, can rejoice! When Murphy was asked about an American tour, he continued:
"And for everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”
I don't care what anyone says, I'm taking that for a big "YES" for the American tour!
Just like last year with the Glee Live! In Concert, American Express cardholder's get first dibs on tickets. It starts on November 22 while general public ticket sales on November 26.
2011 Glee Live! In Concert! dates:
June 22 Manchester, England MEN Arena
June 25 London, England O2 Arena
June 26 London, England O2 Arena
July 2 Dublin, Ireland O2 Arena
July3 Dublin, Ireland O2 Arena
To get your tickets go to TicketMaster.com or call (800) 745-3000
The Glee Tour is also teaming up with I Love All Access so visit GleeTour.com
If they don't say anything about the American tour soon---then you best believe I'm heading to the U.K!
Also, I went to the Glee tour last year and got VIP tickets with I Love All Access. The were pretty pricey but SO well worth it! I HIGHLY recommend them!
Are YOU excited for the tour(s)?

I'm a student in Manchester and am going to see their first show, therefore the VERY first Glee Live! show in the UK. (It proved so popular that the cast are staying in Manchester overnight and doing another show on the 23rd if you want to adjust your facts). It's the day after my birthday, so Happy Birthday to me :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see Darren Criss perform! He's amazing as Blaine, and 'Teenage Dream', 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' and 'Hey, Soul Sister' are some of my favourites! But Chris's version of Don't Cry For Me Argentina is beautiful (his audition song for the Warblers, perhaps?)
Unfortunaltey I couldn't afford the VIP tickets, being a student and all, but I will wait around after the show. Just a glimsp of the amazing cast would be amazing!
