E! News recently spoke with Cory Monteith at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards and got some information about what the future has in store for Finn and Rachel: "It's going to be a very long-lasting relationship. It's like what Rachel and Ross were like on Friends. They go through the ups and downs, but they have that long-lasting relationship." As for the upcoming Madonna episode, "Let me tell you," he said, "I watched the episode and was like, 'I cannot believe I am in this episode of television because it...is...so...uh-may-zing!'"

Sorry this is so late Glee-clubbers, but, better late than never, right?

Kristin from E! Online gives us these tasty tidbits from the back 9:
Randall: What's the latest on Glee?
Just that I nearly suffered cardiac arrest after hearing this from a source on set: "Artie (Kevin McHale) was walking and dancing around with the rest of the cast...out of his wheelchair!" After breathing into a paper bag and doing some sleuthing, I can tell you that Glee is not going to send Artie to a mysterious island with a smoke monster where he can be healed and magically walk (à la Terry O'Quinn's John Locke on Lost), but yes, we will see him out of his wheelchair dancing. According to this source, episode 18 is about Artie wanting to walk, and he has a dream in which he dances around with the rest of the cast. Then everything goes back to how it was before. It should be fun to see Kevin McHale's fancy (Or not? We'll see.) footwork for the first time, no?
Marty: When will we find out about Quinn's baby and where she will go?

Oprah, Obama, Glee, OH MY!
We found out this week that Oprah has invited the cast to join her on her show, April 7. What a time for the Glee kids, who will also be making an appearance at the White House in the same week!
According to the press, Oprah will use the entire episode to highlight never-before-seen backstage video and speak with show creator, Ryan Murphy. In addition, the cast will give an in-studio performance! I wonder what song it will be....

Personal Reflection
I miss Glee, I really do. April 13 isn't coming fast enough. In honor of that, I thought I would post an edited version of the article I wrote to get onto this great site. Hope it reminds you why you love the Glee too!
Please don't tell me that loving a TV show this much is crazy.
That seeking inspiration from fiction is ridici-baba. I realize this.
But my love affair with television has lasted for too long and has involved so much emotion that I can no longer separate it from my life. It feeds me inspiration, love, sadness, drama, comedy. Sometimes my relationships with it define who I am.
Silly, I know. But I wouldn't change it for the world.
Here is why I currently love Glee -- it reminds me of the days when Hubs and I used to play in the high school show choir.
I remember the best part.....you entered the stage in pitch black. All 26 or so of the kids, plus the entire band with instruments had to wait outside the stage door for our turn. When the stagehands told us to go, we had to run on stage, get the costumes and props set, set up the bass, amp and drums, get all the instruments tuned -- and we had to do this all in under 5 minutes. Hives of activity for those precious minutes.
Finally, once all was set, the announcer announced our name and the screams from the other side of the curtain went up like wildfire. Screams like at a Jonas Brothers concert......primal, energetic, and very, very high-pitched. There was a rush of excitement spreading from one side of the stage to the other that sent tingles up my spine and into the tips of my ears. Then, the first riff on the piano and bass and we were off for a solid 15 minutes of music, dance, theater and just plain joy.
It was electric on that stage from the moment we stepped on to the moment we stepped off. Glee sends me back to those times when there was no other worry in the world but to play in key and to put your all into what you were doing. We weren't thinking about work, money, children...really, any of the ideas that constantly plague our mind today.
Each episode features plucky, young children singing their hearts out while battling the ills of teenagehood. And every time they sing, it's about finding reprieve from life. It's about getting to a place where you are incredibly free of worry and full of, well, glee.
I know that I, for one, am inspired. Are you?

Trivia Tuesday: Chris Colfer
This week on TT, the ever cute Chris Colfer who plays Kurt. And I love all the comments we are getting on these posts. Please feel free to add any trivia that you know that I may have missed!
Chris would like Reba McEntire to guest star on Glee, even though he once said, "I couldn't do country, with all due respect to all country music artists. My parents dressed me up with a cowboy hat and we'd go to the rodeo when I was younger and it traumatized me for life."
During high school, Chris worked at the school cafeteria as a cookie scooper as well as a clerk at a dry cleaners.
Originally auditioned for the role of Artie, but Ryan Murphy wanted to create a role specifically for Chris. Hence, Kurt was born.
In 2007, Chris lost 40 pounds due to diet and exercise.
Chris has a scar on the left side of his neck from a surgical procedure he had done in 1998.
Chris practices Sai, an ancient form of Japanese weaponry.
Wrote and directed Shirley Todd, a musical spoof of Sweeney Todd during his senior year of high school. He also starred as Mr. Lovett.
Has a sister, Hannah.
Favorite color is blue.
While he doesn't condone Karaoke, if he was forced, his go-to song is "The Only One" by Melissa Etheridge.
During high school, he was involved with speech and debate, drama, the F.F.A., was president of the writers' club, editor of the school literary magazine, and captain of Destination Imagination
(On the most challenging part of his character in Glee) "There have been a few times when I've joked about 'leaving myself at the door' to fully commit to being him. He does so many things that I would never do or be caught doing, but to actually do them and be forced out of my comfort zone has been a good thing for me. I'm referring to doing the 'Single Ladies' dance in Episode 103."
(On a memorable scene) "It would be the day we filmed the audition scenes in the pilot. We didn't know we were filming them until ten minutes before. We sang live, no pre-records, and the cast and crew would applaud for us. That's probably the day the cast began to grow together. It was an environment full of nothing, but support. I'll remember it forever."
(On his character in Glee) "He's very fashionable. He's very low patience. He's very vogue. He's a lot of things. He's a mess sometimes. I think they've been describing him as the dramatic and fashionable soprano. I think I'm just the soprano part. He's the dramatic, fashionable and fabulous part. And I'm not so much any of those things."

News From Paley Fest {SPOILER ALERT}
Oh, what I wish that I could have been a fly on the wall at this year's Glee panel at Paley Fest. Not only were fans and press treated to a screening of episode 14, "Hello," but they also got to hear the cast and producers talk about the next nine episodes, the upcoming Glee summer tour, and Glee's future.
So, since I wasn't able to be there, I lived vicariously through other people's tweet updates of the event. And here is what I learned:
1. Ryan Murphy says Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison may have special appearances during the Glee tour (courtesy of @NatalieAbrams).
2. Jane Lynch didn't have to audition, the part was written for her in.
3. Puck will be Mohawk-less very soon on the show. Don't worry ladies, he's still w/o it. (courtesy of @NatalieAbrams) -- Puck is trying a new look. People like the no Mohawk. Might come back, they're mixing it up. (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
4. Upcoming this Spring, Kurt masterminds a love connection between his Dad and Finn's Mom so he can move in with Finn. (courtesy of @paleycenter)
5. Kristin Chenoweth will be in the 3rd episode. "If you have a Tony you can be on the show"-Ryan Murphy on the show's requirements. (courtesy of @paleycenter)
6. The cheerleaders WILL make out. (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
7. Most serious injury? Pilot very intense. Lots of people tipped over in wheels. (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
8. Kurt and his father based on Ryan and his father. (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
9. Lots of Sue's more risqué have been cut out. "I will kick you square in the vagina/taco!" (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
10. Set List for "Hello": Set List: The episode features several songs with the word “Hello” in them after Will tasks the New Directions kids with finding a new take on it. Finn channels his “inner rock star” with The Doors’ “Hello, I Love You.” Rachel, mad at Finn, focuses on the first syllable with All American Rejects’ “Gives You Hell,” but then makes sweet with Groff in a duet of Lionel Richie’s “Hello.” Groff and the Vocal Adrenaline team also tackle AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.” Other songs featured in the episode include Neil Diamond’s “Hello Again” and The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye.” (courtesy of Ask Ausiello)
11. Lady Gaga has given permission and says she loves the show. (courtesy of @GleekShelly)
12. Best line of Glee April premiere: "Did you know dolphins are just gay sharks?" (Britney) And Jonathan Groff = unbelievable. HELLO (courtesy of @KristinAlert)
I did not put a synopsis of the show in as I didn't want to ruin it for those fans who are patient and can wait until April 13. For those that can't, you can find a synopsis here (warning: very Finn/Rachel heavy).

Re-watching Glee! Some thoughts on "Mattress"
Who knew Quinn had it in her? From the moment in “Acafellas” when she shut down Sue by reminding her that true self-confidence means not having to tear others down, Quinn has been growing on me. Over the last few episodes we could see that she was succumbing to the joys of song and dance (and feeling genuine support). But to me it seemed the bitchy cheerleader was always in there. Then came "Mattress".With a fury that could rival Rachel's gay dads and the ACLU, Quinn showed us who the real co-captain was (suck it, Finn). As Sue shrewdly observes, Quinn is a lot like her. And the only person who can go toe-to-toe with Sue Sylvester is another Sue Sylvester (Lord knows Will Schuester hasn't been able to). Thank god this Sue is on the good side (for now).
After all, this is television; Quinn’s nobility may not last forever. She can take on Sue, but we know her real counterpart is Rachel. Both ferocious as lions: Rachel is focused and determined, in need of patience and control. Quinn, on the other hand is level-headed, but lacks Rachel's self-awareness. They have to be at odds. And that means Quinn won't always be so keen to defend Rachel's baby. And that's ok, because it's fun to watch.

"Once Upon A Mattress" Summary
This is a few months late, but maybe it'll help you get in the mood for more Glee (starting next month, of course!)
Once Upon A Mattress Summary
by Sarina Clements
Okay, this is the episode where Will finds out Terri is lying to him about being pregnant. Man, oh man. He’s good. No, no, he’s smart. If he were too stupid, he would’ve believed her whole “it’s for trying on maternity clothes” bit she tried to throw at him when he found that stomach pad in her drawer. AND he was smart enough to roll out of there without going upside her head. Then she’s coming at him with this sad sob story about him changing after starting to run Glee club. She doesn’t want him to be confident? What kind of mess is that? Clearly, Terri is jealous of the Glee club. But anyway, she could’ve made him snap! That’s some serious dirt she was doing to him. Any less of a man would have really hurt her. Poor Will, this dude is already put to the test day after day by Sue and then he has to deal with this crap at home? Same thing goes with Sue. It’s a miracle he hasn’t hurt her. If I had to be around that woman, I would have been in prison by now. I won’t go into detail but, I’m just sayin, she would’ve had some hands thrown at her!
So how about Rachael and Finn covering Lilly Allen’s “Smile”? Of course, they were a K.O. Not to mention they cleaned it up pretty well! For those of you who didn’t know, the original song has explicit lyrics. Rachael claimed it was to help Finn smile in the Glee club picture for the “Thunderclap.” But for real, what did singing that song have to do with helping Finn smile for his picture? I’ll tell you what it had to do with him smiling: dude enjoyed every moment of that number. Rachael was all over him and he especially liked the part when she smacked his butt! Yeah, he was definitely smiling then. Did anybody else pay attention to the piano player? His expressions cracked me up!
They were so lucky to get to make that mattress commercial. It looked so fun! They really made things lively too. It really helped the owner because that script they were reading was some garbage. That commercial would have been a joke if they had put that mess on TV. Everybody would have made even more fun of them. I really enjoyed the scene of them singing “Jump.” But my favorite part was the owner. Oh, he was hilarious! I laughed harder every time they showed him jump. On top of that, he showed no expression whatsoever which made it even funnier.
I was so surprised when Quinn stood up to Sue. I was all, “Go ahead, Quinn. You tell her, girl!” It’s about time she did something other than make Finn feel like crap. It’s also about time somebody other than Mr. Schu stood up to Sue. He does a good job but because he’s her co-worker and a male, it doesn’t really give him the upper hand. (You know all she’d do is cry to the principal, accusing him of some sort of sexist actions) Plus, he didn’t have enough dirt on her to make an impact! But Quinn had the dirt and she knew how to use it.
At the end of the day, Mr. Schu takes the bullet for the kids and gets disqualified from sectionals and thanks to Quinn; the Glee club gets their own page in the “Thunderclap,” McKinley high’s book of ads it seems. As they showed the kids getting ready for the picture, they showed Finn and Puck working out. Did they think they were going to instantly get built in time for the camera? That was so cute. Oh, and what’s with these people who deface the pictures? Can you say, get a life?
Quotes I Liked:
“They’d make me choose between a Hitler mustache, or buck teeth and I can’t rock either of those looks. Do you think I have a potato head?”
-Finn
“We here at Mattress Land believe that mattresses aren’t just for sleeping and fornicating anymore…”
-Mattress Land Owner
.”Friday after Christmas, which I have off, if you’re hideous, stay at home. Spend the entire day watching home videos of a time when you weren’t too repulsive for me to ever wanna look at.”
-Sue
“Have you and the redhead become so sexually depraved that you have to commit your craven acts of adultery in between classes?”

But, he is very sensitive to the fact that he is different than most of his clubmates. He has a huge crush on his girl Tina because he thinks she understands what it is like to be different (her stutter). But when he finds out she is lying, he realizes that she isn't the kind of person he thought she was.

[SPOILER] Are Mark And Naya Off The Market?
So sorry to our writer Amy and all of the other Mark Salling fans out there, but TV Guide Magazine released some scoop that I think may break all of your hearts.
Mark Salling is dating.
While his publicist wants us to believe that he is "not in a committed relationship because he is focusing on his work," sources close to the actor say that he has been casually seeing Naya Rivera, our beloved Santana. I understand the phrase "keeping it in the family," but....wow.
TV Guide goes on to leak that Santana will have a big part to play in the back 9, including during the Madonna-themed episode when she takes the virginity of a "beloved male character." I'm thinking Finn, who either wants to get back at his BFF Puck by sleeping with his girl OR he does it to make Rachel jealous after he sees her hooking up with Jonathan Groff's character.
Anyway, I am glad that Mark and Naya have found each other, even though I weep for all of those out there who had wished he would steal their hearts. Sorry ladies, but it looks like he might be taken!

Trivia Tuesday: Harry Shum, Jr.
This week's Trivia Tuesday features Harry Shum Jr., otherwise known as "Other Asian." I thought it would be fitting to pick him this week since he just had an amazing performance at the Oscars!
Harry was born in Costa Rica.
He speaks Chinese, English and Spanish!
Making an online TV series with his dance group LXD (Legion of Extraordinary Dancers) with director Jon M. Chu. He describes it as "dance meets Heroes."
He has two sisters.
Says that he is really good friends with Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz in real life.
Claims his favorite TV role was on i-Carly.
Was so shy when he was young that his parents thought there was something wrong!
Likes pineapple, mushroom, and tomato on his pizza. Also, loves asian food, especially sushi.
Favorite TV Shows : The Simpsons, Friends, Smallville
Favorite Movies : Goodwill Hunting, Back to the Future, Swingers, Chasing Amy
Plays tennis and golf. Was on the track team in high school and did the pole vault.
(On dancing) "Dancing definitely fulfills my soul. But believe it or not I didn't dance much when I was a kid. I actually began dancing in high school when a friend of mine dared me to audition for the dance team. I ended up making it and my passion grew for it after my first performance in front of hundreds of people. So sometimes it's never too late to learn something. You never know what you may be good at."
(On acting) "I didn't start acting and dancing until junior high and I did a one-man show in junior high that was a requirement to audition for a play. I didn't know if I would want to do it but then I put my all into it. I did a one-minute rendition of Good Morning Vietnam and after I did that the response was everyone cracking up and laughing. I held onto that."

Character Profile: Mercedes Jones
Name: Mercedes Jones
Played By: Amber Riley
Age: 16
Family: We think two parents. Dad is a dentist. Don't know about siblings.
Mercedes is a diva-in-training with a fabulous wardrobe and an even more fabulous attitude. She enjoys drama, gossip, and singing. She appears strong-willed and confident, often standing up for herself when she doesn't feel like she is in the spotlight.
Secretly, Mercedes has two weaknesses. First, she loves her friends. She is willing to sing a song for a friend that is in trouble, even if that friend doesn't really get along with her outside of glee club. She is often found talking on the phone to her BFFs -- Artie, Kurt and Tina -- giving them loving advice (and often letting them see the error of their unfashionable ways).
Second, she wants to be loved. After a mistaken relationship with Kurt, she got upset and busted the windows of his car. I think she craves someone else to think she is as fabulous as she knows she is, and will do anything to get that person. But, she is also misguided enough to think that someone (Kurt), who just wants to be great friends, might actually date her.
Best Quotes
"Oh, HELL to the naw! Look, I'm not down with this background singing nonsense! I'm Beyoncé, I ain't no Kelly Rowland!" (Episode 1: Pilot)
"You're good white boy, I'll give you that...but you better bring it!" ((Episode 1: Pilot)
"You can take it to the moon baby. Everyone knows you can't get stinkass out of polyester." (Episode 1: Pilot)
"You want to be starting something Britney?" (Episode 1: Pilot)
"Girl, this is a hot damn mess."
"Why do we need to go all vanilla on this song? What we need is my chocolate thunder. "(Episode 9: Wheels)
"I can't be co-captain. No time. Kwanzaa!" (Episode 12: Mattress)
"As soon as I get my record deal, I'm not speaking to any of you." (Episode 12: Mattress)

{SPOILER] Doogie and Will Reunite!
This one's for Amy.
From Ausiello, over at EW:
From Ausiello, over at EW:
According to a Glee insider, NPH will play Bryan Adam (ha!), a high school glee club nemesis of Will’s (Matthew Morrison) who resurfaces as a board member at William McKinley.
“Flashback scenes will show Bryan picking up girls and getting all the cool solos,” reveals the source, “while Will sits off in the sidelines.”
The stage for a present-day rematch is set when Harris’ character announces his intent to cut the arts programs at the school. “Show choir ruined his life, made him feel he could be a star, but all he could do is book Carnival cruises,” explains the insider. “Now he wants vengeance.”This will be the episode that Joss Whedon directs, and I for one am excited about the direction (no pun intended) he might take. The episode is slated to air during May Sweeps (so maybe ep. 6 or 7) and is being filmed next week.

By Popular Demand: Extra Lea/Cory Trivia
So you have spoken. You want more Lea and Cory Trivia. So here goes. I spent hours (read: minutes) scouring the internet trying to find the best facts and figures for you Gleeks! Pretty soon, we will also be updating Lea and Cory's bios, so you will be able to find anything (and everything) you want there!
But, for the time being, to satiate your burning desire for tidbits and treasures, here is what I found...
Lea's favorite book is Girl with the Pearl Earring.
She considers her favorite Broadway star to be her friend Marin Mazzie.
She enjoys baking in her spare time not spent on stage because it relaxes her.
Lea was homeschooled for one year when she lived in Toronto performing in the original cast of Ragtime and again when the show was brought to Broadway.
Lea's first audition for a show was for the Broadway cast of Les Miserables. She did not intend to audition but was accompanying a friend and in support of her friend decided to try for the role. She was cast after the audition in the musical.
Lea considers herself lucky to be an only child because if she had other siblings, her mother would not have been able to take her to every audition and be so supportive of her career.
Her favorite movies are Funny Girl and Almost Famous and her favorite television show is Grey's Anatomy.
When on Broadway at the age of 8, she met Jenna Ushkowitz for the the first time. Eventually, they went their own ways once high school started, but found each other again for Spring Awakening, and finally, Glee!
Cory has secret aspirations to record his own record!
He loves a good breakfast, especially omelettes.
Since I was having trouble finding really great Cory trivia, I looked back at his Twitter starting at the beginning. If you can't learn about someone from 140 characters, then when can you? Here are some awesome Cory (@frankenteen) tweets (I have not edited them, but instead preserved them in all of their Monteith glory):
I just sorted my laundry before washing it for the first time ever... totally unnecessary.
can anyone tell me why you have to wash new sheets before you use them? because these seem like perfectly good sheets to me.
Every day I should just come on here and quote 'cypress hill'. 'drop tha hammer! drop tha hammer it's time for action!'
i use big words, and spell them incorrectly! fail.
I know I tweet this everytime I'm on the airplane... but internet at 37000 feet will never, ever get old
...ever been in a hotel room and you can hear the people in the room above you going pee? it's a little disturbing.
A big thanks to the nice folks at Diesel in Yorkville, Toronto! pants that fit are a big plus, I am learning
the whole 'sports fan' thing isn't really sticking with me. I've tried hard, I have! but in the end I just want to watch CNN. LOL.

Terri Needs to Keep Her Mouth SHUT!
It is no secret that I am a huge Wemma fan. I have watched the last 3 minutes of "Sectionals" at least twice (sometimes up to 5 times) a day since it aired and I STILL get butterflies in my stomach. I always root for the underdog, I guess. And to me, sweet, innocent, little Emma is the underdog.
Why, you may ask, do I believe that Emma is the underdog? Because, honestly, I was under the impression that Terri was the big bad wolf, ready to blow Emma's stick house to the ground at the mention of shacking up with her (estranged) husband. I mean, really, Terri is the one that lied, manipulated, and acted like a crazy person in this triangle. She should be the one to blame. Right?
Today, though, I found out that I am wrong. Seriously wrong.
