Christmas is fast approaching, so a Christmas episode just before mid-season break is the most appropriate idea to come up with. It was a joyful, varied but also sad episode, since at the beginning, everyone seems to feel the Christmas spirit until several things complicate the celebration of Jesus’ birth.

Glee Gets Five Golden Globe Nominations!

The Glee cast is on a roll!

Fresh off their Grammy Award nominations, it was just released that New Directions are now up for five Golden Globes! Glee dominated the entire TV category.

Best Actor for Comedy/Musical: Matthew Morrison

Best Supporting Actress for Comedy/Musical: Jane Lynch

I don't know about you, but last year when Glee won best series, I was jumping on my couch with joy.

Fear and Loathing at McKinley

…and once again Glee surprised me by making me like what I thought I wouldn’t like:

I watched the original Rocky Horror Picture Show before this episode so I would be able to tell the differences and similarities and I must say, I didn’t like it very much. It was too crazy, kind of overacted and strange and this didn’t make the songs better for me, either. So I hoped the Glee version would be better as they’ve never let me down so far...

Today, Everyone Is In the "Special Education" Class

The New Directions are finally going to Sectionals! And everyone has gone completely off their rockers. The special education the Glee Clubbers are receiving in this episode is much less about education and much more about how we are each individually unique and special with our own gifts and talents and strengths and weaknesses, and when we use our gifts for the benefit of the group we become spectacular enough to...tie the competition.

Glee Gets Two Grammy Nominations!

Anyway, our beloved Glee got nominated for TWO Grammys! This is amazingly insane! Remember when Ryan Murphy thought the show was going to get cancelled! My, how far Glee has come!

She has an on/off relationship with Puck but still gets jealous when ever he is seen dating other girls. Her crush on Finn started after Sue Sylvester said the Cheerios should date younger men. She convinces Finn to lose his virginity to her and has had her eye on him ever since. There is no doubt that her favorite past time is to make fun of people, especially Kurt, and of course Rachel, whom she commonly refers to as a 'dwarf.' Bio: Finn, in the beginning is a typical, clichéd jock. He is the quarterback of the Mckinley High Titans which makes him teen royalty, especially since he was dating the school's head cheerleader, Quinn Fabray. But he soon is forced by Mr. Schue to join glee club. Although at first he was hesitant, Finn soon enjoys being a part of a club that allows him to express his self and becomes a full term member. Alas, it doesn't sit well with the other Jocks and especially not Quinn. When Finn first finds out about Quinn's pregnancy, he is led to believe he is the father. Rachel comes to be a really big love interest for Finn.

So far this holiday season I have refused to listen to any Christmas music or do anything Christmas-related. I'm not sure why, but I think that I might have to let go of my grinch-y attitude soon so that I can watch this video (and next week's episode!!)

Glee Cast to be Replaced in 2012

How are the wonderful GCO readers doing? I was having a decent day until I found out that the Glee cast we all know and love will be getting REPLACED in 2012. Honestly, that ruined my day.

Here's what's going on...

The creative genius behind Glee, Ryan Murphy, has been getting bombarded with questions of what's going to happen to the current Glee Club at William McKinley High and here's what he had to say:

"Every year we’re going to populate a new group. There's nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot. I think you have to be true to the fact that here is a group of people who come and go in these teachers' lives – they graduate and they're gone. When some of them finish their run at high school it will be very teary episodes. For me it will be particularly tough but a new crop (of actors) will come in. I was concerned about that (whether to have characters graduate and leave the show) because those kids caught on so quickly – but I think one of the things I'm very happy we’ve been able to do this years is we’ve brought in new characters. I think if you can keep regenerating – and I didn’t think we could – I didn’t know if people would want those characters (like Sam) but they do."
